Take a look at the Clemson Tigers national championship t-shirt following their thrilling win over the Alabama Crimson Tide
It had been since 1981 since it’d happened, but the Clemson Tigers are back. Under the direction of Dabo Swinney, Deshaun Watson and company returned to the College Football Playoff National Championship game to face the same opponent as one year before, the Alabama Crimson. Whereas they suffered a tough defeat last year, though, the Tigers turned the tides this time around, emerging as the victors in a thriller.
Clemson trailed for most of the game and seemed to be up against it. However, the well-rounded offensive attack continued to wear down Bama’s highly touted defense in the second half. And eventually that led to them chipping away at the lead. Late in the fourth quarter, they went up 28-24 and it seemed like that could be it, but Jalen Hurts answered with a touchdown run to put the Tide back up. Watson and the Tigers weren’t done, though, driving down masterfully and scoring with just one second left on the clock.
So for the first time in 35 years, the Clemson Tigers are college football’s national champions. Naturally, the rabid fanbase who stayed true to the program was ready to celebrate. And part of that is getting the gear, including the national championship t-shirt:

Those shirts look quite fresh, but let’s be clear; it’s a missed opportunity that we don’t get any “Eye of the Tiger” puns here.

That’s probably for the better, though. There’s not enough fabric in the world to keep that kind of shirt in stock. Then again, with the way that Clemson fans love their team, there’s a high likelihood that they can’t even keep these on the shelves either. Congratulations to the Tigers fans and the players on a fantastic win.
