USC Trojans

Last week: 10-3 Record

USC ended the season as arguably the best team in America not named Clemson or Alabama. The Trojans midseason turnaround was one of the best in the last decade of college football and now it seems like 2016 was just a preview of what this USC program can do. Most of this will now be on the shoulders of Sam Darnold since a lot of his offense will be leaving due to graduation.

When it comes to the Trojans in the Pac-12, the south division has emerged as one of the best divisions in football due to the depth of the division. UCLA and Utah offer tough challenges at home while Darnold and company will have to go to Colorado and Arizona State. The game at Colorado is possibly going to have the south division title on the line. USC should contend for a playoff spot in 2017 behind the efforts of Darnold, a legitimate Heisman contender.
