Aly Raisman, Simone Biles to appear in SI Swim 2017; VIBES event announced

Sports Illustrated and SI Swim have announced a new event called VIBES, which is a festival that celebrates the annual Swimsuit issue.
The Super Bowl is right around the corner, but it won’t be the only big event hitting Houston in February. While the eyes of the world will be fixed on Super Bowl 51, Sports Illustrated and SI Swim will be launching an event that is just as exciting.
Time Inc. has announced that a new event called VIBES will launch on February 17 in downtown Houston, and will celebrate all things Swimsuit issue. It’s an experience for fans that no one will want to miss, as it’s a way to get closer to the Swimsuit issue like never before.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring the SI Swimsuit experience to America’s fourth-largest city less than two weeks after the Super Bowl, the biggest event in sports, takes place in Houston,” said MJ Day, SI Swimsuit editor. “This year’s ‘VIBES’ event will be an all-new and expanded experience, offering fans a cultural festival that spotlights not only the amazing stars of the iconic Swimsuit issue, but the best in food, music and more.”
Tickets to the event start at $35, which is going to be the best deal you find all winter long. VIP experiences begin at $150 with all-access tickets running just $250.
The festival will feature Olympic medalists Aly Raisman and Simone Biles, who will be making their SI Swim debut in this year’s issue. Musical guests Miguel and Dilpo will headline the entertainment side of things at the festival and some of the best food around will be present to round things out.
It’s an even no fan should miss, and it’s a way to interact with the iconic Swimsuit issue unlike ever before. You can purchase tickets to the event here, but be quick about it as they will be a hot commodity.
