Jared Goff ‘excited’ for future of team under new Rams head coach Sean McVay

Jared Goff tweeted out that he was excited about the future of his team, the Los Angeles Rams, in the wake of hiring former Redskins OC Sean McVay.
In the wake of the firing of former Rams HC Jeff Fisher, Jared Goff’s future was uncertain after a very shaky rookie season. But with new head coach Sean McVay, the future is bright for Goff.
McVay turned Kirk Cousins into a franchise quarterback after struggling his first few years. McVay is the youngest head coach in NFL history at 30 and he deserves it.
The offensive mind in McVay turned a bottom-dwelling group into a top-12 passing offense the past two seasons. This coincided with Kirk Cousins’ emergence (that he undoubtedly helped along) as he’s recorded a 95+ QB rating the past two seasons. Cousins has gone from just a fourth-round pick to franchise signal-caller under McVay. McVay is also very respected in the coaching community as well, despite only being on the NFL sidelines since 2008.
Hopefully McVay can help along the Rams’ young quarterback more than Jeff Fisher managed to. Fisher never quite got through to the Rams’ previous quarterback in Sam Bradford, who was thought to be a franchise QB much like Goff is thought to be. Bradford is enjoying success with the Vikings that he never had with the Rams and Fisher. McVay must work his magic on Goff, and transform him into the player the Rams hoped they would get when they picked him number one overall in 2016.

The Rams are hoping Goff has a Cousins-like emergence with McVay as his mentor, and be the face of the Rams for years to come.
