We finally have a release date for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

At long last, we finally have a release date for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and we’re very excited to play it.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been in development for quite some time now. We knew that it was releasing sometime in 2017. But thanks to the Nintendo Switch live presentation, we officially have a release date for the game. It’s time to get excited.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release on March 3, 2017. This just so happens to be the same day as the Nintendo Switch, meaning its most anticipated game will release as a launch title.

When you compare this Zelda game to others in the series, it definitely distinguishes itself in many different ways. This is extremely apparent from the trailers, and we haven’t even played the game just yet.

The world is as big as we’ve ever seen it, and it’s going to be interesting to see what we can discover throughout our play-through. Some lucky fans were able to try it out at E3 last year, and all the feedback was extremely positive.

The developers have stated that this new Zelda game isn’t something entirely new, but a return to form. The first game in the series, The Legend of Zelda, utilized an open world and gave the player the freedom to choose. It seems like they’ll be returning to that kind of play-style for the Breath of the Wild.

Breath of the Wild looks beautiful. From the gameplay to the huge open world to explore to the music. Everything that has been shown is potentially shaping up to be one of the best games of the year and one of the best Zelda games in history. We can’t wait to play it.
