Spurs have won five on the bounce, including a 2-0 win against league leaders Chelsea last time out, putting an end to the west Londoner’s 13-game winning streak. Other than Manchester United, Tottenham are the Premier League’s in-form team. Spurs have scored 15 goals in those five wins, while only conceding only three.
They have the best home record in the top flight and are almost impossible to beat at White Hart Lane.
Spurs have won five consecutive matches at their fortress and seven of the last eight. In 10 home games, Spurs have have won eights and drawn two, taking 26 from a possible 30 points. To make matters more difficult for West Brom, Tottenham also lay claim to the league’s best defense. The north Londoners have allowed a paltry 14 goals in 20 matches, five of which at White Hart Lane.
West Brom are up against it but have the personnel to cause Spurs some trouble on Saturday. They’re in eighth place in the standings and Tony Pulis will have aspirations of qualifying for Europe. An incredible achievement thus far, West Brom have won two in a row and are extremely difficult to break down.
Jonny Evans is unavailable through injury while Chris Blunt faces a late fitness test. Spurs, other than long-term injury absentee Erik Lamela, are completely healthy.

Spurs have won only one of their last seven matches against West Brom (D5 L1), but the Baggies have collected only one Premier League win at White Hart Lane (D5 L4).
For West Brom to have any chance, they’ll have to somehow stifle Dele Alli and Harry Kane’s offensive production. Alli has scored two goals in each of his last three games and usually plays well against the Baggies.
