Brock Osweiler finds C.J. Fiedorowicz to pull the Texans within 1 (Video)

The Houston Texans are putting up a bigger fight against the New England Patriots than anyone could’ve expected, especially the bookmakers.
Everyone thought the New England Patriots would roll over the Houston Texans. Even after they beat the Oakland Raiders to get to the divisional round, oddsmakers put the Patriots as a 16.5-point favorite. It may be a lot, but Vegas knew people would still bet on the Patriots since they know you never bet against Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.
But the Texans feel like they’ve been underdogs all season, and have been disrespected along the way. They probably felt like the Patriots disrespected them when they abandoned their lethal passing game in favor of a rush-heavy attack.
For the first quarter, it worked, as Dion Lewis got his first two touchdowns of the season. But in the second, it was Lewis who coughed up a kickoff return, giving the Texans 12 yards to work with:
In addition to giving them a short field, the Patriots completely blew their coverage on C.J. Fiedorowicz, giving Brock Osweiler a wide-open target for a touchdown:
Every game in the playoffs has been decided by double digits, and there’s plenty of time for the Patriots to blow this game wide open. But a big reason why they haven’t done that already is their overconfidence.
Despite having the league’s best defense, no one gave the Texans a chance. But nobody was more pissed off about the 16.5-point line than the Texans themselves. And even after Brock Osweiler had a good game against the Raiders, he still feels like he has to prove himself to fans.

If the Texans play their best game of the season, and capitalize on the Patriots’ mistakes, they can pull off one of the biggest upsets in recent playoff history. It wouldn’t be the first time the Patriots wound up on the wrong side of history.
