High Value SG
Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (5,800): The Suns sophomore SG had 39 points in the team’s loss to Dallas in Mexico on Thursday and he has at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last seven contests. Booker did struggled against the Spurs with just 8-3-4 in their last meeting after 17-4-5 against them last month. San Antonio’s defense on the wings is extremely strong, so Booker is riskier than Beal or Wade tonight even though he has every bit as high a ceiling when he’s on his game.∗∗
Tyreke Evans-New Orleans Pelicans (5,100): With Anthony Davis out, Tyreke Evans shouldered more of the scoring load for New Orleans against the Nets. He played 27 minutes off the bench and went off for 48.5 fantasy points on 29-4-3 with a block and four steals. He had been held under 20 fantasy points in each of his four previous games, though, so he’s a riskier if Davis is able to return tonight in Chicago and he gets less usage in the second unit. No Davis-∗∗∗∗ With Davis-∗∗
Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (4,400): Hood is still available at a deep discount since he’s working his way back to 100% after battling injury and illness. He has looked excellent in his last two games, though, which have both come at home where he faces Orlando tonight. Hood had 18-5-3 against the Cavs on Tuesday for 33.25 fantasy points and followed that with 27 points in 29 minutes in last night’s romp over the Pistons. He totaled 39.5 fantasy points on 27-4-2 in last night’s game, and he’ll hope he’s still feeling his shot against Orlando less than 24 hours later tonight.∗∗∗
Buddy Hield-New Orleans Pelicans (4,300): Hield had a quiet game on Thursday with 5-5-1 with 12.75 fantasy points against the Nets. He took a backseat to Tyreke Evans’ big game, but he is still in the starting lineup and hs still has over 28 fantasy points in three of his last five making him worth a look as a cheap flier tonight against Chicago.∗∗
