High Value C

Tyson Chandler-Phoenix Suns (5,400): Chandler has posted double-doubles in his last two games and has at least 15 rebounds in four straight games. He had 36.8 fantasy points in Mexico against his former team from Dallas on 14-19-0 with a block and had 29 fantasy points against Cleveland on 10-15-0. Chandler and the Suns take on the Spurs tonight who have proven to be a tough matchup all season for opposing bigs allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing centers. Chandler has managed just 4-8-0 and 4-7-0 in his two games against them over the last month, so keeping up his current form will be a challenge tonight.

Jahlil Okafor-Philadelphia 76ers (4,400): Okafor is a tricky case to evaluate coming into tonight. He hasn’t taken the floor since January 3 when he played just ten minutes against the Timberwolves. He has largely been the odd man out in the Sixers crowded young frontcourt, but he’ll play tonight with Joel Embiid resting. Okafor did have success in December when he averaged just under 26 minutes per game and averaged 11.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.1 blocks, 1.5 assists, and 0.4 steals per contest. The Sixers could use Embiid’s off-day as a showcase for Okafor since rumors are they’ve been shopping the No. 3 overall pick from 2015, but Okafor is also risky since he has received DNP-CP in five of his last six games.

Robin Lopez-Chicago Bulls (4,100): Lopez has over 20 fantasy points in each of his last two games while scoring in double digits and adding good numbers on the glass. He  gets a great matchup against the Pelicans tonight who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing centers, and RoLo could be a great value as a result. Lopez is definitely capable of 20+ fantasy points again tonight, but he doesn’t have a super-high ceiling even in such a plus matchup.

Dewayne Dedmon-San Antonio Spurs (4,000): Dedmon had two great games in the Spurs three-game homestand which ends tonight as they travel to Phoenix. Dedmon played at least 20 minutes in each contest and had at least 17 fantasy points in each game. His best game of that stretch came on Sunday against Charlotte when he had 15-10-1 for 34.5 fantasy points and he also had 28.4 fantasy points against the Lakers on Thursday on 6-12-2 with a pair of blocks and a steal. The last time the Spurs headed to Phoenix, Dedmon played 23 minutes and had 11-9-0 for 23.8 fantasy points, so I think he’s a very usable option tonight especially if coach Popovich decides to rest some of his regulars (stay tuned). ∗∗∗
