The Atlanta Falcons will host the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday in the NFC Playoffs. Here are the inactive players for this NFC Divisional Round game.

Only eight teams remain in quest for the Lombardi Trophy. It’s divisional round weekend in the 2016 NFL Playoffs and the first game is about to begin. We’ll have a great one on tap here shortly as the No. 2 Atlanta Falcons (11-5) host the No. 3 Seattle Seahawks (10-6-1) for a 4:35 p.m. ET kickoff.

Both teams will be missing their best defensive back, as Falcons cornerback Desmond Trufant and Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas are out for the season with injuries. Nevertheless, let’s take a look at the inactive players for both teams in the NFC Divisional Round bout.

The most significant absence for the Seahawks is running back C.J. Prosise. Seattle has been depleted in the big-play department on offense with wide receiver Tyler Lockett also out for the year.

Prosise was questionable to play on Saturday, but will miss yet another game for the Seahawks. However, should the Seahawks advance to the 2016 NFC Championship Game, expect Prosise to be ready to play for a potential trip to Super Bowl 51.

Atlanta will enter this game coming off a first-round bye. Outside of Trufant and tight end Jacob Tamme being out for the year, the Falcons look to be in good shape physically for this game.

Rookie tight end Austin Hooper will be back for the Falcons. This is big for the Atlanta passing game, as tight end Levine Toilolo is more of a run blocker. Look for Hooper to be targeted a few times on Sunday.

The biggest scratch for the Falcons is third-string running back Terron Ward. His healthy scratch really stems from Atlanta having the best one-two punch in the ground game in football in Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. Ward is a capable running back, but won’t play at least until the Falcons reach the NFC Championship.
