The 2016 NFL Playoffs are very much underway. We are now in the Divisional Round of these playoffs. The first game on the slate for this weekend will be a regular season rematch between the No. 3 Seattle Seahawks (10-6-1) and the No. 2 Atlanta Falcons (11-5).

Seattle (10-6-1) earned the No. 3 seed in the 2016 NFC Playoffs by virtue of winning the NFC West. The Seahawks stomped the No. 6 Detroit Lions (9-7) to the tune of 26-6 in the NFC Wild Card round on Saturday, Jan. 7. Seattle won with defense, crowd noise, and a commitment to the running game to advance to the Divisional Round.
Atlanta (11-5) earned the No. 2 seed in the 2016 NFC Playoffs by virtue of winning the NFC South. The Falcons were idle last weekend, thanks to being one of four teams to earn a first-round bye in the NFL Playoffs. Atlanta has had the best offense in football all season. The young defense is improving and the Falcons look to be a serious threat to make it to Super Bowl 51 in Houston.
