Sunderland host Stoke at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, Jan. 14. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

David Moyes’ Sunderland side host Stoke at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon. The Black Cats are struggling once again this year and their fans will be hoping for a better second half of the season. A home match against Stoke could be just the ticket for Sunderland. The Potters have struggled on the road and only have two away wins from 10 Premier League road trips. Sunderland have also been much better at home, only losing one of their last seven matches there.

The only down side for Moyes right now is the injury list his side keep racking up. Sunderland have eleven key players out injured but what they are missing most is someone to add to Jermain Defoe’s goals. The former England hitman has been on fire this season and he is the only reason that Sunderland are not rock bottom of the Premier League. If they could sign another goalscorer to help Defoe out then they would probably be a mid-table side. Stoke fans will not be disappointed with their team’s season so far but they will know that it could be going better and a win away at Sunderland could kickstart a push up the table.
