High Salary PF
Julius Randle-Los Angeles Lakers (6,700): Randle is a boom-or-bust option these days in the Lakers’ front court. He was held to just 4-8-2 yesterday against the Clippers for only 13.6 fantasy points, and he also tweaked his ankle. He was able to stay in the game, but those kind of things sometimes linger a bit depending on the significance. When he is on, Randle can be excellent with at least 38 fantasy points in two of this last four games and at least 35 fantasy points in five of his last eight. He gets a pretty good matchup against the Pistons tonight, but his inconsistency makes him a risky pick.∗∗
Enes Kanter-Oklahoma City Thunder (6,200): Kanter has moved from the high value section to the high salary section since he has been on quite a run of success lately. He has at least 14 points in six straight games and 12 of his last 13. He had 21-8-2 for 30.6 fantasy points in 30 minutes against Minnesota on Friday after 39.1 fantasy points on 19-13-3 against Memphis midweek. He has at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last six and he should be able to produce a big number against the Kings iffy front line. Even coming off the bench, he is more reliable than Randle, lately so roll with him if you go with just one PF over 6K tonight.∗∗∗
