The Houston Texans head to Foxborough for the second time this season to face the New England Patriots. Where can you watch the game on-line?

The Houston Texans, off a 27-14 wild card win over the Oakland Raiders, are in the playoffs for the fourth time in six years. That is not too shabby of a run.

That is unless you’re comparing it to the New England Patriots. Bill Belichick and company are making their eight consecutive postseason appearance and have now made the playoffs for the 14th time in 16 years.

Still, it is interesting to note that a number of the coaches currently on the Texans’ sidelines have been with the Pats during many of those years. From Bill O’Brien to Romeo Crennel to Mike Vrabel. And this will mark the second time Houston has come a calling to New England this season. Talk about déjà vu? It’s the second time in five years that the Patriots will play host in this series twice in one season.

Back in Week 3 on a Thursday night at New England, Houston had a problem holding onto the football and Belichick’s club (led by rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett) rolled to a 27-0 win. It dropped the Texans’ overall record in this series to 1-7 and it was their fifth straight loss to New England. The club is also winless on the road (0-4) in this setting.

Of course, defense will be the order of the day will be defense. The Texans allowed the fewest total yards in the league, quite the astonishing feat considering O’Brien’s club was without three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt. On the other hand, the Patriots allowed an NFL-low 250 points. It marked the first time since 2003 that the club led the league in this category.

The familiarity between the coaching staffs makes for a very interesting affair.
