We look at the NBA players who we think are most underappreciated craftsmen in the latest episode of The Step Back’s Day-to-Day NBA Podcast, hosted by Jason Mann.

David Ramil of the Locked on Heat podcast joins the show to discuss his recent article on Paul Millsap, how he’s evolved from a role player to an all-NBA player late in his career, how he deflects the spotlight and how he continues to thrive despite continuous trade rumors.

Listen: The Knicks have lots of problems, again.

We also look at other players who we view as underappreciated for their on-court value, aesthetic appeal or how they’ve developed their games. We discuss Jae Crowder’s evolution as a player, Al Horford’s poise and ability to facilitate, how Nicolas Batum has tried to emulate Scottie Pippen, George Hill’s adaptability and defensive chops, Mike Conley’s pick-and-roll craft and smart decision making, Andre Roberson filling in the gaps for the Thunder, and Blake Griffin evolving from a dunk artist to a complete player.
