The Dallas Cowboys earned the No. 1 seed in the NFC during the 2016 NFL regular season despite the fact Tony Romo broke his back in the preseason.

Tony Romo broke his back during the preseason, and it looked like the Dallas Cowboys’ season was over when he did it. However, rookie Dak Prescott led the team to the best record in the NFC, and when Romo was healthy, he had no job to return to. Now, with the Cowboys eliminated from the playoffs, the question is what will happen to Tony Romo in Dallas and nothing has been decided as of yet.

The logical choice would be for the Cowboys to trade him, as Prescott proved during the team’s Divisional Round loss to the Green Bay Packers that he is the future at the position. Romo could yield some big value from multiple teams, as good quarterback play seems to be at a minimum in the NFL. Romo looked good in his only action of the season, leading a 81-yard touchdown drive against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The San Francisco 49ers finished with the second-worst record in the NFL this season, and then proceeded to fire head coach Chip Kelly after his only season at the helm. While Kelly is likely to latch on with the Jacksonville Jaguars as their offensive coordinator, the Atlanta Falcons OC may be headed to San Fran. Kyle Shanahan has led the Falcons to a historic season offensively, and it appears that he is ready for his first head coaching job.

As they head into their AFC Championship Game matchup against the New England Patriots, the Pittsburgh Steelers are currently dealing with some off the field issues. Star wide receiver Antonio Brown took to Facebook Live while head coach Mike Tomlin was delivering his post-game speech after the team’s win against the Chiefs, and Tomlin had some choice words for the Pats. On Tuesday, Tomlin let the world know how he felt about the situation, and there is certain to be a fine coming for Brown.

The Los Angeles Chargers officially introduced new head coach Anthony Lynn on Tuesday, as their ushered in the Los Angeles chapter of their book. It will be the first head coaching gig for Lynn, who plans on keeping Ken Whisenhunt as the team’s offensive coordinator. Lynn also likes former Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley as his defensive coordinator, and if he can get him to come to L.A., Lynn would have two former head coaches as coordinators as he beginning his career as the man in charge.
