What does the night shift have in store for the doctors of Chicago Med? Here’s how you can watch season 2, episode 11 live, on TV and online.

You don’t have to stay up late to watch this week’s episode of NBC‘s Chicago Med, but the doctors will be logging some extra hours as they work the night shift on Thursday.

Season 2, episode 11 is called “Graveyard Shift,” and it’s particularly difficult on Dr. Sarah Reese (Rachel DiPillo). Reese has been working her neurology rotation with Dr. Abrams, and now she’ll have to confront death a couple of times — which she already hasn’t done well with, given that she quit her planned position in Pathology.

Reese’s mentor and father figure Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) will be working with Dr. Isidore Latham (guest star Ato Essandoh), with whom he appeared to be making progress near the end of last week’s episode. That ought to be a very interesting combination for Med fans, so get your popcorn ready now.

Here’s how NBC officially describes the episode:

"It’s a long night on the graveyard shift at Chicago Med, especially for Dr. Reese, who must deal with pronouncing patients dead on more than one occasion. April gets called in to work, much to the dismay of Tate, who pressures her to slow down. Meanwhile, Dr. Charles passes along some vital news to Dr. Latham, and Goodwin asks Dr. Rhodes to work on a most unusual patient."
