It’s a Wild West matchup between #14 Arizona and #3 UCLA on Saturday as the Wildcats continue the Los Angeles leg of Pac-12 play.

UCLA has continued its dominance of Pac-12 teams, coming off a crushing 102-80 win over Arizona State on Thursday where the teams rained down three pointers over the visiting Sun Devils. Arizona is on an 11-game winning streak with the last win coming from a tight 73-66 victory over USC. Their two losses come outside of the Pac-12, with a loss to Baylor and Gonzaga.

Looking at both teams side by side, the numbers suggest a sharp contrast. Arizona is 9-10-0 against the spread while UCLA comes in at 10-8-0. UCLA is averaging 93.3 points per game while Arizona hovers around 75 ppg. UCLA has a 53.6% field goal percentage while Arizona trails with 47.4%. They’re fairly evenly matched with rebounds, with UCLA’s 39.3 vs Arizona’s 37.5, but they diverge once again with UCLA’s 22.5 assists and 5.7 blocks as opposed to Arizona’s 14.1 assists and 3.5 blocks.

Bryce Alford leads UCLA in scoring, with 17.4 points per game, giving him a slight edge over Arizona forward Lauri Markkanen’s 17 ppg. Markkanen leads Arizona with 7.4 rebounds per game, but Bruins’ TJ Leaf leads with 8.9 rbg. Lastly, UCLA’s super freshman Lonzo Ball leads with 8.2 assists per game over Wildcat Kadeem Allen’s 3.1.
