Eibar host Barcelona at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 22. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Eibar welcome Luis Enrique’s Barcelona side to the Ipurua Municipal Stadium on Sunday. The Basque side well relish the opportunity to play against last year’s La Liga champions but the Blaugrana will probably have too much for them. After a torrid spell where many thought that Enrique might lose his job, Barcelona have had a good couple of weeks. They thumped Las Palmas last weekend and then managed to win 1-0 against Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey in midweek. Considering Barcelona have a terrible recent away record at Sociedad that was a fantastic result for them.

They will look to continue with this form against Eibar on Sunday, but it won’t be an easy game. Eibar are one of the most undervalued stories in European soccer right now. For such a small town and club, their current league position of ninth is remarkable. The Basque side fight for every little thing but they also have an air of class about the way they play. This game is certain to have a huge atmosphere and although Eibar may fancy their chances it’s unlikely Lionel Messi and Co. will slip up here. Real Madrid have started to look shaky and it’s imperative that Barcelona keep up the pressure on their bitter rivals if they want to win La Liga this season.
