Bill Belichick prepared the New England Patriots well for their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It showed during the AFC Championship game as Tom Brady and company dominated their foes for the entire game.
Just like the NFC Championship, this game was over before the game really began. Now, the Patriots have two weeks to prepare for the Atlanta Falcons ahead of Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas. In commemoration of winning their AFC Championship on Sunday, take a look at the championship gear below.
With Sunday’s win, the Patriots advance to their ninth Super Bowl appearance in franchise history — their seventh in 15 years. They were firing on all cylinders as the Patriots showed their versatile offense. Likewise, the defensive unit forced Ben Rothlisberger and the rest of the Steelers offense to make multiple mistakes.
Belichick is a pro when it comes to coaching. He’s one of the well-prepared coaches week after week. It doesn’t hurt he has stars on his team like Brady, but success and failure starts at the top and coach Belichick understands that.
