TCU Horned Frogs

Last week: 14-5, 3-4 Big 12
Last rank: 5

TCU was flying as high as they possibly could last week and we expected them to come back down to earth a bit. Still, they fought hard in road loss against a desperate Texas Tech team that needed any type of road win. They had a halftime lead against Baylor before falling apart late and all indications are that this team will remain frisky through March. They take to the road to battle with Oklahoma State in what will be a great measuring stick game for both teams. Later in the week they find a winnable out of conference game against Auburn, which could be important as TCU does have some at-large possibilities at stake now.

Kansas State WIldcats

Last week: 15-4, 4-3 Big 12
Last rank: 6

Kansas State has not been tested all season, and after an 0-2 week, they looked to be a potential fraud moving forward. However, they righted the ship and pulled off their two most impressive wins to date. They took to the road and ended their losing streak by beating a desperate Oklahoma State team before pulling off a major home upset against the top ten ranked West Virginia Mountaineers. They head back on the road with a huge showdown against Iowa State in Ames, before heading to Knoxville to battle with Tennessee. A 1-1 record there would be good enough, but going 2-0 this week would really have this team on the radar.
