Baylor responded to their big loss against West Virginia by winning three straight games by nine, ten and nine points respectively. This week, the schedule was not too tough, but they took care of business against Texas and went on the road to finish off TCU. This week, they see two very winnable games as well, as they get Texas Tech, and their road woes at home before heading to Mississippi to take on a below average SEC foe in the Rebels.
With West Virginia falling so hard, it seems to feel like Kansas has established themselves on a tier of their own. The Jayhawks had an impressive win against Iowa State before handling the Texas Longhorns with ease this week. Their winning streak now sits at 18, but this week will be their biggest test in the past few weeks. Kansas will head to Morgantown to take on the ticked off and hungry Mountaineers, but that may be their second toughest task of the week. They then have to head to Lexington to take on Kentucky in a game that everybody in the country will have their eyes on. A 2-0 record this week would make it nearly impossible to claim that Kansas is not only the class of the conference, but also the class of the country and the team to beat moving forward.
