Garry Harris-Denver Nuggets (5,000): Harris returned in good form after his latest injury which cost him just four games. He ended up playing 35 minutes against Minnesota and totaling 22-6-3 for 33.7 fantasy points. As long as the Nuggets continue to give him so much run, he’ll be a good play at just 5K as he hosts the the Jazz tonight who are still without Rodney Hood who makes them much stronger defensively. Harris should be a solid play tonight as long as he avoids a setback with his ankle. ∗∗∗
J.J. Redick-Los Angeles Clippers (4,700): Reddick stopped up with a solid night last night with 25.1 fantasy points against the Hawks on 17-3-3. The Clippers still need him to help shoulder the offensive load while Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are out. He may find some good room for success against the Sixers tonight, but their wing defense has been much stronger lately than it was early in the season.∗∗
C.J. Watson-Orlando Magic (4,000): With Evan Fournier questionable but still unable to practice yesterday, Watson could be set up for another start tonight alongside Elfrid Payton in the Magic backcourt. Watson has played over 30 minutes in each of his last two games with 5-5-2 against Milwaukee for 14 fantasy points and 12-2-4 with two steals against the Warriors for 20.4 fantasy points. He’s risky tonight, to be sure, but he should get minutes which is enough to put him on the radar as a sleeper at just 4K tonight against Chicago.∗∗
Dejounte Murray-San Antonio Spurs (3,800): With Tony Parker out, Dejounte Murray has gotten the start for San Antonio the last three games. He was a disappointment last night in a great matchup in Brooklyn but did play 22 minutes. He finished with just 4-6-3 for 13.7 fantasy points which was a letdown after a huge game with 24-2-2 against the Nuggets for 30.4 fantasy points in his first start and 14-2-6 for 23.4 fantasy points against the Cavs. He’ll be in a tougher matchup tonight in Toronto, but the rookie still has a ton of upside to take a look at especially if the game gets one-sided in either direction and he gets some extra playing time.∗∗∗
Alec Burks-Utah Jazz (3,600): Burks has looked like he’s ready to return to fantasy relevance his last two games playing 19 minutes against the Pacers on Saturday and finishing with 13-4-1 and 20.3 fantasy points. He followed that with 13-2-2 and 20.4 fantasy points last night as he steps back into his role as primary offensive threat in the Utah second unit. He had a lot of success in that role in the past before being derailed by injury, and with Rodney Hood still out there is lots of potential for him to step into a larger role. Be careful since his minutes are still ramping up and at less than 100% in tonight’s second game of back-to-back, but at this price he’s still worth a look.∗∗
