Is NBC’s ‘Chicago PD’ airing a new episode tonight, Jan. 25? We let you know and tell you what you can expect from season 5, episode 13 when it airs.

Fans of NBC‘s Chicago PD will be a little disappointed this week, as the Intelligence Unit doesn’t have a new case. The network is airing a rerun this Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 10 p.m. ET.

But don’t turn the channel just yet! The rerun they’ve chosen is season 5, episode 7, “300,000 Likes,” which is a good one for any One Chicago enthusiasts. It’s the first half of the two-hour story that served as PD‘s winter finale and the swan song for Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) before he left the series to become a regular on Chicago Justice.

“300,000 Likes” also features a guest appearance by Philip Winchester as Antonio’s new boss, Assistant State’s Attorney Peter Stone. You can find out why we’re so excited to have him in the franchise by watching the video at the top of this article.

Because the CPD never leaves anything undone, the second half of the two-parter, “A Shot Heard Round The World,” will air next Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 10 p.m.

So when will the Intelligence Unit be back on duty? The next new episode of Chicago PD airs on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 10 p.m. on NBC.

Season 4, episode 13 is called “I Remember Her Now” and involves Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) being sent undercover. Perhaps fans will also finally get an update on Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), who’s been uncover for the last three episodes? You’ll have to watch to find out.
