DraftKings NHL Picks:
Evander Kane – BUF (W) – $4600
Buffalo will hit the road tonight, to take on the Dallas Stars. The Stars are a -145 favorite, but aren’t as imposing defensively. Evander Kane is almost always going to be in play for me, as he continues to be under priced given his floor. Kane has regressed back towards his average shot volume, and now is averaging 3.93 shots per game, this month. Kane’s upside may be capped slightly by the matchup and not being on the top power play unit, but for the price, I’ll take a guy averaging just under 4 shots and 20 minutes per game.

Ryan O’Reilly – BUF (C) – $5500
Ryan O’Reilly is another Sabres’ forward that continues to be at a stagnate price, while also accumulating nearly 22 minutes per game. This time on the ice is incredibly value, as it provides more opportunity to peripheral scoring. O’Reilly will also see time on the top power play unit.
Martin Hanzal – ARI (C) – $4600
Categorically “bad” teams are generally overlooked in DFS, but Martin Hanzal is a centerman to consider for tonight’s slate. Arizona will play host to the visiting Canucks, in a game that is very winnable for the Coyotes. Vancouver opened as a -120 favorite, and we’ve already seen some line movement, pushing Arizona to become a -115 favorite. Since returning from injury, Hanzal has played two games, recording over 20 minutes in each. Hanzal has upside playing on the top line as well as top power play unit, but also provides an attractive floor (averaging 2.8 shots per game this year).
Others to consider: Jared McCann, Vincent Trocheck, Melker Karlsson, Elias Lindholm, Matt Irwin, Mattias Ekholm, Paul Stastny
