1. James Robinson, 4-star WR (Lakeland, Fla.)

James Robinson is far and away the biggest name left on the board for the Gators where they realistically have a shot to land. I would say it’s LaBryan Ray, but if he didn’t pick Alabama, I’d be shocked.

The four-star receiver from nearby Lakeland, Fla., was an Under Armour All-American and the Gators could definitely use some depth at the wide receiver position. Last year’s big wide receiver pledge was from former Houston commit Tyrie Cleveland and he finished fourth on the team in receiving with nearly 300 yards and two touchdowns.

Robinson, like many of the guys on this list, took an official visit to Gainesville on Jan. 13 and will be making his decision around National Signing Day. He could help an offensive looking for that true No. 1 receiver and combine for a dynamic duo with Cleveland. Robinson has to be drawn to Florida because of the opportunity to play early.

Ohio State and Oklahoma are the other contenders for Robinson with Clemson as a long-shot to land him. He’s ranked the No. 114 overall prospect in 2017 and as the No. 14 wide receiver, according to 247Sports.

Florida has a chance to finish this class stronger than ever before under McElwain and I’d bet that he records his highest-ranked group yet.
