Is NBC’s ‘Chicago Med’ airing a new episode tonight, January 26? We let you know and tell you what to expect from season 2, episode 12 when it airs.

If you were looking to check into NBC‘s Chicago Med tonight, then we’ve got news for you: the series is airing a repeat tonight, Jan. 26 at 9 p.m.

But don’t go changing your plans just yet. The episode in question is the season 2 premiere “Soul Care,” which is one of the better episodes and a great one to watch if you want a refresher on the major storylines and important characters around Gaffney Chicago Medical Center.

It’s in “Soul Care” that we first meet Dr. Isidore Latham (Ato Essandoh) and see him immediately clash with Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell); of course now we know that Latham has Asperger’s syndrome and is undergoing treatment for it.

The episode also features the first full appearance of Jeff Clarke (Jeff Hephner) on Chicago Med after he appeared in two brief scenes in the season 1 finale. Clarke has a bigger presence in this episode and begins his relationship with Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) at the end, and well, you know how that turned out.

But if you need to go back to how the season began, or just want to relive the start, then tune in tonight and get a refresher course.

The next new episode of Chicago Med will air next Thursday, Feb. 2 at 9 p.m. on NBC.

Season 2, episode 12 is called “Mirror Mirror” and features a high-stakes patient for Clarke and his new partner in crime Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee). There’s also tension between Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and his boss when a documentary crew shadows them. It’s pretty intense, so why not refamiliarize yourself with the key players tonight before diving back in next Thursday?
