New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers quarterbacks Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are both featured on covers of Sports Illustrated this week.

Ahead of the NFL Conference Championship games, Sports Illustrated has released two covers for this week’s issue. The two covers feature Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and New England Patriots star Tom Brady.

The national cover features Brady with the cover line, “The Brady Connection: His Arm. His Mind. His Heart. (The QB Only his Receivers See).” SI senior writer Tim Layden wrote the cover story talking to some of Brady’s best weapons over the year, including players like Wes Welker, Troy Brown and Julian Edelman.

The Patriots will be taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship, while Rodgers and the Packers will be taking on the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship. Rodgers graces the regional cover ahead of the big matchup, with a story from SI’s Greg Bishop on Green Bay’s improbable eight-game winning streak in the issue.

There are plenty of interesting tidbits from Layden’s story on Brady, especially from some of his former wide receivers.

“My whole life… people are going to ask me, What was it like to play with Tom? It was everything—that’s what it was like,” former Patriots receiver Jabar Gaffney told Layden in his cover story.

Can the Patriots head to their seventh Super Bowl in the Brady and Belichick era? Can Rodgers keep this incredible hot streak alive? We’ll find out this weekend.
