LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (10,200): LeBron and the Cavs are another drama-filled situation as we approach the All Star break. Like Wade and Carmelo Anthony, though, his numbers have been good despite whatever off-court issues there may be. He comes into tonight’s game against the Nets off of back-to-back triple-doubles. The first came against the Pelicans when he had 26-10-12 against the Pelicans for 62.5 fantasy points, and he followed that with 24-13-11 for 64.75 fantasy points against the Kings. The only risk in rolling with LeBron is that the Cavs are going to try and limit his minutes, and tonight’s game against the Nets could turn into a blowout early.∗∗
Paul George-Indiana Pacers (7,900): In five of his last six games, George has produced at least 34 fantasy points. His last two games have been even better with 31-7-3 for 48.25 fantasy points against the Knicks and 32-4-5 for 46.5 fantasy points last night against the Timberwolves. He’s playing for the second night in a row which always makes him a little risky, but his hot shooting makes him worth considering at under 8K.∗∗
Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (7,200): Like Wade and LeBron, Anthony has been playing well despite the recent drama around him. Melo has scored at least 25 points in four straight games and five of his last six. He has over 42 fantasy points in three of his last four games including Wednesday’s 30-8-3 for 42.5 fantasy points. Tonight, he gets a good matchup agains the Hornets who he beat up on earlier this season and who are allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per contest to opposing SF on the season. .∗∗∗
