Werder Bremen face Bayern Munich at Weserstadion on Saturday. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Even though they’re in the midst of a six-game Bundesliga winning streak, Bayern Munich only have a three point lead atop the table over second-place RB Leipzig. They’re coming off a tight 2-1 win away to Freiburg that needed a Robert Lewandowski stoppage-time goal to break the deadlock.
The leaders will be without midfield stalwart Arturo Vidal for at least a few weeks after he aggravated an existing rib injury last Friday. Even so, Bayern will expect to keep their streak alive on Saturday, hanging onto their slim lead.
Werder Bremen lost for the first time in six league matches on Saturday to visiting Borussia Dortmund. The 15th-place side had been playing decent soccer up to that point, drawing with Hoffenheim and Cologne while beating Hertha Berlin and Ingolstadt. After a rough start to their Bundesliga campaign, things are looking up for Bremen. A shock result against Bayern Munich could potentially spark a run up the league table.

Just looking at the Bundesliga table would give one the impression that Bayern Munich should stroll into Weserstadion and scoop up three points with ease. But Werder Bremen have been in much better form as of late and will be confident of holding their own against the leaders.
