Here’s how to watch Sunday’s Big East-ACC clash between Villanova and Virginia.

It’s shaping up to be a great weekend for college basketball, with multiple non-conference top-10 matchups and a heavy helping of quality conference clashes. Sunday’s top-10 battle features Villanova and Virginia, both once again contenders for the national championship.

When the two teams met last year in Charlottesville, it was a tight affair for much of the game before Virginia pulled away to win comfortably. In the return match of this home-and-home series, Villanova will host Virginia at the Wells Fargo Center to try and exact their revenge.

Most of the major players on Villanova’s squad this year are recognizable from last year’s championship run. Josh Hart continues to improve, blossoming into a legitimate superstar in his senior year. Jalen Brunson has handily taken the reins from Ryan Arcidiacono, and is probably the best point guard in the country no one talks about. Kris Jenkins keeps hitting shots, they’ve got a death lineup, and role players from last year’s squad like Darryl Reynolds and Mikal Bridges have grown into excellent starters. Despite a short seven-man rotation, ‘Nova remains among the top contenders for the national championship, and have one of the better shots at repeating we’ve seen in a long time.

Virginia and Tony Bennett just keep chugging along as top ACC contenders, despite the departure of key seniors like Malcolm Brogdon and Anthony Gill — and the early season dismissal of ‘star’ transfer Austin Nichols. London Perrantes has proven up to the challenge of leading the ‘Hoos attack, and is hitting around 43 percent of his 3s as one of the most efficient offensive players in the country. Guys like Marial Shayok and Darius Thompson have grown into expanded roles, Isaiah Wilkins remains one of the country’s best glue guys, and young players like Kyle Guy and Mamadi Diakite have proven able to contribute well in small doses.

Both teams are currently ranked within the KenPom top 5 — we should be in for a show (though a slow-paced one) this Sunday in Philadelphia. Don’t miss out.
