When will the 2017 WWE Royal Rumble officially begin on Sunday night?

The 2017 Royal Rumble is finally here and one lucky competitor will punch their ticket to WrestleMania on Sunday night. 30 men will enter the biggest match of the year and one will walk away with the right to main event on the biggest stage of them all. There are also plenty of matches on the card on Sunday night.

For those that are watching the Royal Rumble on Sunday night, the two-hour kickoff show will begin at 5 p.m. ET and the actual show itself will begin at 7 pm ET. The two-hour kickoff show will have a couple of matches, including Cesaro and Sheamus vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

When the show does begin, the path to WrestleMania will become a lot more clear for plenty of superstars. The RAW Women’s Championship match between Charlotte and Bayley will pit two former friends against each other in the ring.

On the SmackDown Live side of things, John Cena will have a chance to tie Ric Flair with a 16th World Championship when he faces A.J. Styles. With the Elimination Chamber just around the corner, the winner of this match will defend their title inside the demonic structure.

The Universal Championship will be a unique one for RAW. Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens will battle once again, but with a twist. Chris Jericho will be high above the ring in a shark cage so that he can’t interfere on behalf of the champion.

Lastly, the Royal Rumble will produce a legend when it’s all said and done. With names like The Undertaker, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and others, the winner of this match will have earned their place in history. They will go on to face one of the champions at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando.
