Who will Randy Orton face in the main event of WWE WrestleMania 33 after winning the Royal Rumble on Sunday night?
Randy Orton has officially become the seventh man in history to win multiple Royal Rumbles. On Sunday night, Orton entered at the No. 23 spot and had to survive Brock Lesnar, Goldberg and The Undertaker all coming out after him. In the end, it was Orton that came out on top.
It didn’t look like Orton was going to get there for a while after Roman Reigns entered at the No. 30 spot. The final three was Orton, Bray Wyatt and Reigns. The two Wyatt family members did their best to eliminate the man that had lost to Kevin Owens earlier in the night.
Reigns would deliver two superman punches and would eliminate Wyatt. Having Orton seemingly in position for a spear, the former would land an RKO out of almost nowhere. He would take the momentum and knock Reigns over the top rope and win the second Royal Rumble of his career.
Now that Orton has won yet again, he will go on and face likely the SmackDown Live champion in the main event of WrestleMania. Things could obviously change about which champion he faces, but that remains to be seen. John Cena is currently the champion after defeating A.J. Styles and tying Ric Flair for 16 world titles on Sunday night.

Cena and Orton have plenty of history and will forever be tied together when their careers are done. However, Cena’s spot in the main event is not locked down by any stretch at all. He still has to survive the Elimination Chamber in Phoenix, Arizona in just two weeks.
There stands a chance that Orton could be facing someone completely different. We will know quickly before that event just who will be challenging Cena in that match. Once the Elimination Chamber is over we will know who Orton will face at WrestleMania 33.
