Lucifer is heating up as we move toward the winter finale and the thrilling conclusion to the three-part story arc. “A Good Day to Die” is part three of the three-part story, and we begin where we left off last week. Chloe has been poisoned and Lucifer has just found out that everything with Chloe may have been orchestrated by his father.

It seems like Lucifer has been caught in a cosmic yo-yo as he moves between the highest highs and the lowest lows. In last week’s “Love Handles,” Lucifer learns that Chloe truly loves him and that their relationship is real. Then he finds out that his father may be responsible for everything that happened to bring Chloe into his life, and when he goes to confront her, he finds that she has been poisoned.

“A Good Day to Die” is the conclusion to the winter event and serves as the cliffhanger for the winter finale. Lucifer searches for answers while Chloe fights for her life. But will Lucifer be able to get the answers he so desperately seeks? It’s clear that Lucifer wants his relationship with Chloe to be real; hearing so many of his past lovers say that they felt nothing for him was hurtful, and that’s why he was playing it safe with Chloe until he knew she wasn’t acting under some outside influence. That’s what makes this latest news so devastating, because now Lucifer will call everything he has ever done with Chloe into question until he gets some answers.
