No matter where you are, you can watch Super Bowl 51 Media Day. Here’s how to watch whether it’s on television or via live stream.
Before the big game, there’s always Media Day. Super Bowl 51 Media Day will be held on Monday, Jan. 30. With several intriguing storylines entering the big game, it should lead to some quality drama. This is also a time for fans to get to know the players from both the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons a bit better.
No, the event will not be held at NRG Stadium, where the Super Bowl will be played. Rather, it will be held at Minute Maid Park, which is also in Houston. Media Day has wisely been moved to primetime, and will be aired at 8:00 p.m. ET.
“The desire was to create a real opening night celebration as soon as the teams hit the ground, serving the media’s needs while also creating energy and accessibility for the fans,” said Peter O’Reilly, the NFL’s senior vice president of events, via NJ.com.
Last year, several players emerged as fan favorites as they creatively expressed themselves. Who will soon forget Josh Norman wearing a wrestling mask? Nobody, that’s who. Who will be this year’s breakout star? Martellus Bennett should be a controversial quote machine. He’s never been one to hold back. Breakout star Chris Hogan should be a popular guy, as he has a great backstory.
