Here’s how to watch Tuesday night’s clash in Hinkle Fieldhouse between top Big East teams Creighton and Butler.
Tuesday night gives us round two between a pair of the Big East’s top teams. Greg McDermott and the Creighton Bluejays travel to Hinkle Fieldhouse to try and complete the regular season sweep of Butler.
Things will be quite a bit different this time around, though. In the first game, the Bluejays had Maurice Watson Jr. – and he scored 21 points, to go along with 7 assists, to help lead his team to victory. Now without his services for the rest of the year, Creighton has been struggling to find their footing. Before Saturday’s win over DePaul, the previously 18-1 Bluejays had dropped two in a row.
Their chances will rest on the continued development of Khyri Thomas, who has taken the reins as lead ballhandler in Watson’s absence. He was a big part of their rebound victory over DePaul, pouring in 18 points on 7-14 shooting. Thomas and Marcus Foster will need be the creators for a new-look Creighton as they move forward.

Butler will be looking to bounce back from a their first home loss this season. The Bulldogs fell 85-81 to suddenly resurgent Georgetown this past Saturday. To complete their season pack of victories against the Big East’s ‘other’ top 4, they’ll lean on upperclassmen Kelan Martin and Andrew Chrabascz. The pair have been the high-usage drivers behind a top-20 offense, combining to average 28 points per game.
Kamar Baldwin and Kethan Savage have also been coming on lately as serious contributors. Savage in particular has expanded his role as the season’s gone on. The senior has been averaging 12.2 points in his last 10 games after scoring a total of 18 points in his first 8 games. Savage adds another excellent attacking element to an already strong offense.
