DraftKings rosters are back to their typical 7:00 lock tonight when a pair of games get going including the first game in NBATV’s double-header. The Knicks and Wizards meet again on NBATV while at the same time the Pelicans head to Toronto to face the Raptors. At 8:00, we get a matchup of the stars in Houston as Boogie Cousins and the Kings visit James Harden and the Rockets. The Spurs host Russell Westbrook and the Thunder at 8:30 while the Blazers welcome the Hornets later tonight at 10:00 in NBATV’s second game. In the last game to get underway, the Nuggets and Lakers face off again as another one of the many rematches on the schedule. In face, the only two games that feature teams playing who haven’t played each other already this year are the Spurs and Thunder along with the Raptors and Pelicans. If you’re worried about back-to-back’s, none of the 12 teams in action tonight are playing for the second night in a row while the Hornets, Nuggets, Pelicans, Knicks, Thunder, and Raptors all are getting ready for another game tomorrow.
To skip ahead to today’s DraftKings daily picks jump ahead to the next slide, but here are a couple quick ground rules before we tip things off. In this post each day, there are a two slides per position. The first slide focuses on the high-salary options (usually 6K+) while the second slide focuses on the cheaper plays who bring high value (under 6K). Each pick is given a rating of 1-5 stars based on my confidence level in the pick (on a points-per-dollar basis). More stars means more confidence with one-star players having the least confidence and five-star players being “must-play” locks.
The design of these picks each day isn’t to give you a lineup to copy and paste, but to help you have the info to make your own best and well-informed decisions. I do include my own personal lineup on the last slide, but you should build your lineup with the players you like can cheer on tonight. For your information, my lineup is designed for lower-risk contests like double-up or small-field competitions not for GPP tournaments.
