High Value PG

Jameer Nelson-Denver Nuggets (5,600): Nelson is expected to get the nod for the Nuggets if Emmanuel Mudiay is out tonight (questionable-back). Nelson has been playing well in place of his younger teammate and has over 30 fantasy points in each of his last three games. Two of those games did come in a good matchup against the Suns, but the Lakers are even worse at limiting opposing PG. Nelson should be a strong play if he gets the start against LA, but if Mudiay returns he becomes too high-risk. There’s also a chance that Denver is without its other PG since Jamal Murray missed practice yesterday due to illness. If both Murray and Mudiay are out, there will be lots of minutes for Nelson to absorb in a very PG-friendly matchup. With Mudiay-∗ No Mudiay-

Brandon Jennings-New York Knicks (5,100): The Knicks numbers in their last game were all  inflated due to their quadruple-overtime which resulted in huge minutes for everyone. Jennings got the start and played a massive 53 minutes totaling 43.25 fantasy points on 18-3-11. Even without the extra time, though, Jennings has proven he can produce when given the chance to start. Derrick Rose is out tonight with an ankle injury, so Jennings should get plenty of work against the Wizards in one of the two early contests.∗∗∗∗

Tony Parker-San Antonio Spurs (4,100): Parker will go head-to-head with the fantasy beast that is Russell Westbrook tonight, and Parker is just working his way back to 100% after missing four games with a foot injury. He did look good on Sunday against Dallas totaling 16-0-4 for 21.5 fantasy points. Before the injury, he was rolling along with 20 fantasy points or more in nine of his previous ten games. He’s a great bargain at this price as long as he’s cleared to play his full minutes tonight.
