Middlesbrough host West Brom at the Riverside Stadium on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Middlesbrough welcome West Brom to the Riverside on Tuesday as the Premier League has a round of midweek fixtures. In a weekend of FA Cup shocks, Boro avoided being a laughing stock as they triumphed over Accrington Stanley, 1-0. That result took them into the fifth round of the competition and added more shine to their already impressive season. Aitor Karanka’s side are only just above the relegation zone but as one of the promoted sides they’ve done well to hold their own. It’s getting a little tighter for them, though, and a win on Tuesday night would ease some of that pressure.

West Brom should prove to be a tough test for Boro and Tony Pulis will fancy his side’s chances of taking all three points. The Baggies are 12 points ahead of their Tuesday night opponents and a win would leave them right on the tails of seventh-place Everton. Both of these sides are certainly stronger in defense than they are in attack, and it wouldn’t be surprising if a single goal settled the match. With that in mind, it seems like West Brom should have a competitive edge considering their Premier League experience and Tony Pulis’ tactical know-how.
