1. Levi Jones, 4-star OLB (Austin, Texas)

Yet another top recruit on the Bruins’ board from Austin, Texas. Levi Jones is one of those impressive talents who could come in right away and play as a true freshman, but the Under Armour All-American needs to figure out which depth chart he wants to climb as National Signing Day approaches.

There are a number of suitors for him such as USC, UCLA, Florida State and Florida. It’s odd to see a kid from Texas want to get out as many recruits from the Lone Star State are usually looking to attend Texas, Texas A&M, Houston, Baylor or Texas Tech, among others.

Jones is choosing between playing in California or heading southeast to Florida for his college career and it looks like the Seminoles lead in his recruitment. He took a trip to Tallahassee on Jan. 27, his final official, which gives off the impression that he’s one step closer to becoming a Florida State commit.

The official visit he took to UCLA was two days before his USC trip, which makes sense because officials can last two days and he decided to stay in California. He’s ranked the No. 92 prospect in the class and as the No. 6 outside linebacker.

Mora Jr. would like to add Jones as Jayon Brown and Cameron Judge are both graduating this offseason, leaving the outside linebacker positions for the Bruins vacant. Could the depth chart draw him to UCLA?
