4. Caron Butler

Butler last “played” for basketball for the Sacramento Kings, appearing in 17 games during the 2015-16 season. His useful basketball days were a few years prior to that but LeBron James seems to have this magical ability to rejuvenate the bodies of aging veterans, squeezing a little extra production from the proverbial stone. Butler used to play good defense. He used to make 3-pointers. He also used to chew on straws, which was kind of gross.

Still, Butler brings a certain amount of savvy and tuffness. Remember, the dude’s nickname was Tuff Juice. His knees may be creaky and his grin a little creepy, but Cleveland could easily talk themselves into Butler’s ability to knock down a big shot or two, maybe play some useful defense against a few different positions. Just squint and pretend he’s Richard Jefferson.
