The Colorado Buffaloes have the No. 32 recruiting class of 2017 heading into National Signing Day. Here are the players that will be playing their college ball in Boulder for Mike MacIntyre.

After a breakthrough year in the Pac-12 in 2016, the Colorado Buffaloes are using that to their advantage on the recruiting trails. It wasn’t all that long ago that Colorado was perceived as the worst Power 5 team in the country. Now the Buffaloes have the No. 32 recruiting class of 2017, according to 247Sports.

Head coach Mike MacIntyre has built momentum with his Pac-12 team and has his team heading in the right direction for the foreseeable future. Here is a look at all the players that have committed to play their college ball in Boulder for MacIntyre in the 2017 recruiting class.

MacIntyre and his coaching staff has made it a point to go after wide receivers in this recruiting class. It is a position group that he has a great knowledge for and should helped Colorado continue to be explosive now that quarterback Sefo Liufau has graduated.

Colorado has landed two four-star recruits in this 2017 class: offensive tackle Jake Moretti (Arvada, Colorado) and wide receiver K.D. Nixon (DeSoto, Texas). Getting a big body like Moretti on the offensive line is huge for the Buffaloes. Having him early enroll in Boulder only helps in getting him on the field as a true freshman in 2017.

Nixon and his high school teammate wide receiver Laviska Shenault headline a strong perimeter weapon corps for this 2017 Buffaloes class. Together, Nixon and Shenault will likely motivate each other to get the most out of their time in Boulder.

Competition will bring out the best in both of them. That could translate to early playing time at some point in their freshman seasons. However, not early enrolling at Colorado may mean that both wideouts will have to wait until October to seen the Boulder gridiron.
