Cameroon face Ghana in the African Cup of Nations on Thursday, Feb. 2. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Cameroon defeated Senegal in penalty kicks to advance to the African Cup of Nations semifinals. Ghana converted a late second-half penalty to defeat Congo, 2-1, in the quarterfinal round. Now both teams face off with a chance of reaching the AFCON final.

Four-time AFCON champions Cameroon had a tighter quarterfinal match than expected. They need to refocus the game plan as they take on a tougher side in the semifinals. On paper, Ghana are ranked higher than Cameroon, but FIFA rankings don’t mean much once the game begins. This year’s AFCON tournament has been filled with upsets so far. Thursday’s match could easily continue that trend.

Ghana spoiled their 1-0 lead against Congo before redeeming themselves on a penalty kick to win the match. Cameroon are definitely a tougher side than Congo. The defense is tighter and Cameroon has more weapons than Ghana saw against Congo. Yet, Ghana have not allowed their AFCON opponents to score more than one goal per game.
