ESPN’s double-header doesn’t tip off until 8:00, but DraftKings’ rosters in the main competition will lock at 7:00 PM ET when the Magic host the Raptors. At 7:30, two more games get started as the Nets take on the Pacers in what should be a high-scoring game and the Pistons welcome in Minnesota. The first game of ESPN’s coverage tonight features the Celtics and the Lakers at 8:00 while at the same time the Rockets host the Bulls and the Thunder take on the Grizz. At 9:00, the Bucks visit the Nuggets in Denver before the last two games tip off at 10:30 featuring the Suns and Kings in Sacramento and the Mavericks an Blazers in the last game of the night on ESPN. Of the 18 teams taking the floor tonight, only the Rockets and Lakers are playing for the second night in a row. However, there are nine teams scheduled to finish their back-to-back tomorrow: the Nuggets, Pistons, Pacers, Grizzlies, Bucks, Timberwolves, Magic, Suns, and Kings.
To jump right into tonight’s DraftKings daily picks head to the next slide, but here are a couple useful reminders before we tip things off. In this post each day, there are a two slides per position. The first slide focuses on the high-salary options (usually 6K+) while the second slide focuses on the cheaper plays who bring high value (typically under 6K). Each pick is given a rating of 1-5 stars based on my confidence level in the pick (on a points-per-dollar basis). More stars means more confidence with one-star players having the least confidence and five-star players being “must-play” locks.
As I remind my readers every day, the design of my post each day isn’t to give you a lineup to copy and paste, but to help you have the info to make your own best and well-informed decisions. I do include my own personal lineup on the last slide, but you should build your lineup with the players you like can cheer on tonight. For your information, my lineup is designed for lower-risk contests like double-up or small-field competitions not for GPP tournaments.
