Bayern Munich face Schalke at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, Feb. 4. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Bayern Munich have won both their games since returning from Bundesliga’s winter break, but they’ve hardly been convincing. They were lucky to beat Werder Bremen last week, and ran out 2-1 winners thanks to excellent goals from Arjen Robben and David Alaba. As talented as Bayern’s squad is, Carlo Ancelotti won’t enjoy having to rely on moments of individual brilliance to ensure wins against mid-table opposition.

Bayern remain three points clear of second-place RB Leipzig at the top of the table, and have opened up a 13-point gap to third-place Eintracht Frankfurt, but they’ll want to find some more reliable form, especially with a Champions League round of 16 tie against Arsenal fast approaching.

Schalke have struggled to find consistency all season and currently sit in 11th place in the table. They’ve now won only one of their last six league matches, and face a massive task to beat Bayern.

Bayern will be huge favorites at home, but Schalke have a chance to cause an upset given the recent form of their hosts. Bayern have been nowhere near as dominant under Ancelotti as they were under former manager Pep Guardiola, and without a quick improvement in form, some of their lucky wins are likely going to start turning into losses.
