Borussia Dortmund are just one point out of third place in the Bundesliga, but they will feel like they missed some opportunities to make a run towards the top of the table as they have drawn in four of their last six league matches. On Saturday they have an opportunity to put a dent in the lead RB Leipzig — currently in second place — have over them and third-place Frankfurt.
BVB received some disappointing yet not entirely unexpected news recently when forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admitted he’s considering a move away from Dortmund this summer. He has been a major contributor to the Dortmund attack, netting 20 goals already this season. Aubameyang offered that he would love to transfer to Real Madrid but would be just fine with a move to the Premier League.
RB Leipzig trail leaders Bayern Munich by three points. They will be feeling pressure to win on Saturday as Munich are currently in insane form. Dropping points, as they have recently, losing two of their last give league matches, is not an option for Leipzig if they hope to challenge for the Bundesliga title.
