Crystal Palace host Sunderland at Selhurst Park on Saturday, Feb. 4. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Crystal Palace welcome Sunderland to Selhurst Park on Saturday in a relegation battle. This will be the first time that Sam Allardyce has faced the club he was managing this time last year and after masterminding an impressive win over Bournemouth, he’ll fancy his side’s chances of taking all three points. The Eagles finally got a Premier League victory under Allardyce and if they can make it two in a row on Saturday they can lift themselves out of the relegation zone.
Beating Sunderland should prove to be a tougher task than it’s been for the majority of this season, though. The Black Cats got a very impressive point in midweek as they held an in-form Tottenham side to a 0-0 draw. If they can summon that kind of resilience again on Saturday, then it might be a single goal which decides the game. Ultimately, though, both sides desperately need points, and it’s too early on in the season for an all-or-nothing approach to matches.
