Top Centers

Piling up an average of 30 FanDuel NHL points-per-game over the last three Winnipeg Jets games, Mark Scheifele ($7,900) is a must-have in your lineups today.  Scheifele is leading the Jets 2nd regular and power play lines tonight and averaging around 20 minutes of ice-time each night. With a very juicy match up against the Colorado Avalanche, over 20 points is a reasonable expectation for tonight from Scheifele.

Another scolding hot center is the Washington Capitals Evgeny Kuznetsov ($7,100).  Like Scheifele, Kueznetsov has been astounding lately.  Over the last three Caps games, Evgeny is averaging over 25 FanDuel NHL points-per-game.  Kuznetsov is also leading the Caps 2nd lines in a solid match up against the Canadiens.  Montreal is a good team, but they’re reeling from a Thursday loss to a mediocre Flyers team, and now the Capitals are playing the best hockey in the NHL.  Kuznetsov is another reasonable 20 point expectation tonight.

Top Wings

As we talked about for our Wednesday lineup, Brad Marchand ($7,500) is cooking and needs to be in your lineup each day, or night, he plays until he cools off.  For our Wednesday investment in Marchand, we were rewarded with 39.4 FanDuel NHL points against a very good Washington Capitals.

Brad was the offensive force in the game for the Boston Bruins and his nearly 30 FanDuel NHL point-per-game average, over the last four Burins games, should continue tonight at home in a favorable match up against the Maple Leafs.

While I generally like to stay away from a terrible Dallas Stars team, Patrick Eaves ($5,800) has been an exception.  Eaves has five double-digit FanDuel NHL point results in the Stars last seven games.  During that span, Patrick had a 25 and 34 point result, representing a high ceiling on a reasonable salary.

With an assist or goal in the last four Los Angeles Kings games, Marian Gaborik ($5,000) is consistently providing around 14 FanDuel NHL points-per-game lately.  Gaborik is on the Kings top regular line, which has been hot lately, and the 2nd power play lines.  Marian should see plenty of ice time against a Flyers team who’s offensively strong, but very weak defensively.

Finally, we’re looking for value in our Brian Gionta ($4,800) pick.  Gionta is playing on the Sabres 3rd regular line, but with time on the 2nd power play line as well, lately, Brian should log another 16 minutes on the ice.  Over the last four games, Gionta is another consistent double-digit FanDuel NHL point provider.  Brian also has a decent match up against the Senators tonight.

Top Defense

Our top pick last night for defense was Seth Jones ($5,000).  Jones had 17.6 FanDuel NHL points leading to his 5th straight double-digit result in the Columbus Blue Jackets last five games.  Jones and the Blue Jackets have another favorable matchup tonight, at home in Columbus, against the Devils.  Seth’s salary actually dipped $200 tonight, likely because of all the great options on Saturday.  He should continue to roll and is a great bargain.

Cody Franson ($3,700) has four double-digit FanDuel NHL point results in the Buffalo Sabres last five games.  Franson is averaging around 15 points-per-game during that time.  Playing on the Sabres 2nd regular and power play lines against the Ottawa Senators tonight, Cody is a bargain for around 15 FanDuel NHL tonight.

Top Goalie

After a 19.2 FanDuel NHL performance against the Saint Louis Blues last Tuesday, we plugged Ondrej Pavelec ($7,800) into our lineups on Thursday for a juicy match up against the Dallas Stars.  Pavelec piled up an awesome 31.2 FanDuel NHL points against the Stars on Thursday likely leading anyone he used him into a cash position.

Tonight, the Winnipeg Jets have another fantastic match up in Colorado against the Avalanche. The Jets offense has also been on fire lately, so this should be an easy 12 points, from a win for Pavelec.  With several saves in the book as well, 20 points is a rationale expectation from Ondrej tonight.

Always check NHL lineups throughout the day when playing FanDuel NHL.  As a fan, you likely know the league isn’t overly forthcoming with injury news, and players are often scratched at the last-minute with little information.  Also, goaltenders are never a sure-thing.  Good Luck today FanDuelers!
