Singing the national anthem is always a tough job, but performing it at the Super Bowl can add even more pressure. Here is this year’s singer.
On Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots will battle it out inside NRG Stadium to decide which team will be the next Super Bowl champion. The Falcons and the Patriots have had to navigate some tough waters to get to this position, and both are playing the best football of their respective seasons. Armed with MVP-caliber quarterbacks, this game is certain to be a good one from the opening kickoff.
The Patriots come into the game looking for their fifth Super Bowl with Tom Brady under center. Brady, who was suspended for the first four games of the regular season due to his alleged role in Deflategate, would be the only quarterback to accomplish that feat if he can knock off the Falcons. On the other hand, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is looking for his first ring, and he comes into the game as the front runner to win the NFL MVP Award this season.
While the players will be doing their best to raise the Vince Lombardi Trophy, one star of the music industry will be looking to kick the festivities off on a high note. Every year, the NFL is able to secure some of the biggest stars of music to perform the national anthem, and this year is no different. Luke Bryan will take the stage to belt out the anthem, and as one of the biggest country music stars in the world, his performance should be an incredible one.

Super Bowl 51 has not garnered the type of buzz the Super Bowl usually does, probably because the Falcons are not a national brand. However, these two teams are by far the best in football, giving the fans an incredible matchup of two teams who can put up points in bunches. Bryan will get the event started in what should be a full day of excitement and intrigue.
