There are few press conferences as fascinating to watch as those when New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is talking. It’ll be even more interesting after New England’s incredible win over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.
Things did not look good for New England after going down 28-3. Fans and media around the country had counted the Patriots out. However, everyone knows that you can’t count out the Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady.
The Patriots wound up scoring 31 unanswered points in the victory thanks to a wonderful comeback from Brady. The future Hall of Fame quarterback finished the game with 466 yards, two touchdowns and an interception on 43-of-62 passing.
You can’t take away from what the Patriots did, but you also have to point out that Dan Quinn and the Falcons did an absolutely terrible job of holding onto their 25-point lead in the second half.
